International installation artists
Translated individual installation requirements into power, AV and practical site needs.
Technical lead at Dark Rooms Hotel; one of several production leads at LOST

LOST brought immersive installations into Luxwerk, a 19,000 m² Berlin site. The work needed power for individual artworks, public spaces, safety lighting and exit signs. At Dark Rooms Hotel, my technical-lead role centred on live troubleshooting and maintaining installations.
Translated individual installation requirements into power, AV and practical site needs.
Coordinated infrastructure requirements with other production leads and the venue's working conditions.
Planned routes and equipment needs with specialists; final electrical verification remained with the electrician.
Briefed and coordinated teams of varying size during installation and live troubleshooting.
Owned a technical production workstream, not overall festival leadership or the complete schedule.
As one of several production leads at LOST, I coordinated crews and worked with artists to turn installation requirements into practical power, AV and lighting plans.
Worked directly with artists to understand installation requirements, then brought those needs into conversations with site crews and suppliers.
Planned routes and equipment needs for installations and public areas, while keeping final electrical verification with the festival electrician.
Built MapperV2 to make allocation and cable-route planning easier to inspect during production.
Power planning, artist support and installation troubleshooting were my remit, alongside other production leads. The festival's qualified electrician performed final electrical verification.
Decision Mapped requirements and routes with artists and installation crews.
Effect Gave teams a usable basis for site decisions, with final electrical checks by the qualified electrician.
Decision Built MapperV2 to support circuit grouping and cable-route planning.
Effect Made the planning information easier to inspect; the tool did not certify safety.
MapperV2 supported the allocation and route-planning work that later informed Short Circuit. The illustration below is a concept, not an actual LOST plan.
I built and used MapperV2 to support circuit allocation and cable-route planning at LOST. This is where the software story behind Short Circuit begins.
Bring installation positions, power needs and cable routes into a plan that could support decisions onsite.
The tool supported layout and load planning within configured limits. It did not certify electrical safety or replace onsite verification.
The exhibition opened at Luxwerk. My work supported installation and live operation across the site. MapperV2 helped organise allocation and cable-route planning; it did not replace electrical design or safety sign-off.
